Morrison pleads not guilty to charges

Robert James Morrison on Sept. 8 entered a plea of not guilty to all charges during a brief arraignment at the Norm Maleng Justice Center in Kent.


Martial arts instructor charged with child rape, suspect operated Lee’s Martial Arts studio in Renton and Maple Valley

The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Robert James Morrison, 42, of Bellevue, Aug. 26 with one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and three counts of rape of a child in the third degree. He was arrested Aug. 24 in Renton at Lee's Martial Arts Academy LLC where he is an instructor and he is listed as the sole governing person for the corporation. Morrison also operated a martial arts studio in Maple Valley.

The Panthers’ twin ‘ballers make opponents see double… twice

This year's Panthers varsity team contains two sets of twin sisters: seniors Dani and Lindsey Downing and sophomores Kayla and Jessyka Seger. Though both sets of twins are fraternal and not identical — meaning they can't necessarily try to confuse opposing defenders trying to cover the team — each of the girls said it has been helpful having someone on the team they have known literally all of their lives.
