The Sumner Spartans emerged from the regular season with a 6-8 record, enough to earn a berth in the South Puget Sound League 3A/Seamount League Subdistrict tournament.

Becker earns opening-round bye at subdistricts
White River High girls tennis singles player Maggie Becker earned a first-round bye in the South Puget Sound League 3A subdistrict tournament that started Tuesday. Action continues today, Wednesday, Friday and if necessary, Saturday, at Auburn Riverside.
