UPDATED RESULTS: Incumbents continue to hold large leads in 31st district race | ELECTION 2012

Incumbent State Representatives Christopher Hurst and Cathy Dahlquist continue to maintain their large leads in the second round of election results released by the Secretary of State's office.

As of 4:16 p.m. Nov. 7, Hurst, an Independent Democrat, continued to lead Republican challenger Lisa Connors by a margin of 55.2 percent to 44.8 percent. So far, Hurst has received 20,229 votes to 16,449 for Connors.

Meanwhile, Dahlquist, a Republican, held her lead over Democrat Brian L. Gunn, leading 62.78 percent to 37.22 percent, or 23,223 votes to 13,767.

Updated results on other King County races have been delayed until later this evening.

Updated results will be released each afternoon until the election is certified on Nov. 27.
