Enumclaw girls win subdistrict tournament | Girls Basketball

The Enumclaw High School girls basketball team took the No. 1 spot at the subdistrict tournament Saturday beating Lakes 62-41.

The girls fired up seven three-point shots, hitting four in the first half to stop Lakes early.

Danielle Salarelli lead the team in scoring and on the board with a 15 point night and a dominating performance on both ends of the court.

Julia Meyer hit for 13 and Katie Holland 11 as the Hornets dominated from the opening bell to the closing buzzer.

Lakes appeared to be making a run in the in the second, pulling within five when Enumclaw began driving the lane drawing fouls and making put-back shots.

The girls gave an all around performance for the night earning the top seed going into the district tournament.
