Travis Martin Lear, 25, charged with first-degree child molestation for a Jan. 30 incident, entered a not-guilty plea during an arraignment hearing Thursday in King County Superior Court.

Lear has been charged with an alleged sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl at the Enumclaw Library.

According to the King County Prosecutor's Office the charge includes "a special allegation that provides for a longer sentence if a sexual assault was a predatory offense. If a jury finds the predatory allegation to be proven, it triggers a mandatory 25-year sentence. The charge also carries an indeterminate maximum sentence of up to life in prison.  Lear, 25, remains in jail with bail set at $1,000,000. A case setting hearing is scheduled for February 28."
