Plateau gains three new auto shops

Plateau car owners have three more options for caring for their vehicles – Ron’s Auto Care Center, True Care Automotive and Mike’s Shop.
Ron’s Auto Care Center opened in July at 435 Griffin Ave., formerly home of Jerry’s Chevron in Enumclaw.
Owner Ron Johnson has more than 25 years in the automotive care business, 20 of those as an ASE master certified technician. He provides bumper-to-bumper service on all makes and models and specializes in engine performance and diagnostics.
Johnson welcomes walk-ins during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For information, call 360-825-5563.
Across town at 1340 Railroad St., Mike Jongkindt and LeiLani Lake opened True Care Automotive in September.
Jongkindt, who has 15 years experience, said his shop offers top technology, a fair price, a labor guarantee and free, written, honest quotes.
True Care Automotive is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 360-625-8254.
Also in September, Mike Pedreira opened Mike’s Shop at 26311 state Route 410 in Buckley.
Pedreira is an ASE master certified technician with a number of specialized certificates covering everything from hydraulic braking to electronics. He caters to both foreign and domestic models.
Mike’s Shop is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For information, call 360-761-9063.
