Station 082 appeals to the creative and competitive side of its mostly-young clientele.

The downtown Enumclaw business, complete with Xbox and flat screens, bills itself as a “digital media zone and maker space.”

Owners Erynn Petersen, Jennifer Kruse and Sarah Hansen write, “We are a creative outlet to make. Do. Build. Play. We are a bright place to meet friends and make new ones.”

The owners have guiding principles: “We believe kids prefer to play games with each other. We believe girls like technology as much as boys. We believe kids like to build stuff as much as they like to play games.”

Easing parent worries, they promise a “safe, loud, fun place.”
