Buckley chamber event aims to bring Plateau business together
August 4, 2009 · Updated 8:47 AM
The Buckley Chamber of Commerce will host a Businesses of the Plateau social networking and hors d’oeuvres party from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Buckley Eagles Hall.
The chamber will have three 8-foot tables available for local business people to display or hand out business cards, brochures and flyers introducing their businesses to one another.
“We would like to create a you-scratch-my-back-and-I’ll-scratch-yours atmosphere among the businesses in Buckley, Enumclaw and Bonney Lake-,” chamber president Ron Callis said. “During these tough times especially, businesses on the Plateau need to work together, because ultimately what one of the towns does effects the other two.”
All local business owners and area entrepreneurs are welcome to the strategy session. For information, call 253-569-7192.
