Enumclaw's Suburban Soul is expanding its operation to Issaquah and shooting for a June 18 opening.

The new store will be at a prominent location at 735-D N.W. Gilman Blvd. – between REI and Massage Envy.

According to owner Sheena Sanders, even in tough economic times, the Cole Street flagship store, which opened in March 2008, has seen success and duplicating that business model at a second store was the next move.

"We've always had our eye on Issaquah," Sanders said. "There's not anything like us there."

Suburban Soul sells men's and women's apparel, beauty products, accessories, shoes, baby gifts and home decor. It's Jeans Bar, which offers more than 20 different brands, year-round swim and travel department, as well as its experienced staff and customer service have helped make it a success.
