In “Rainier wants to expand” (Oct. 6) the article misprinted a quote from Diane Larsen to read: “developmentally disabled persons.” The correct quote was “people with developmental disabilities.” Larsen, who works as a parent coordinator and legislative liaison for Pierce County Coalition for Developmental Disabilities, said she uses and teaches the “People First” manner of speaking to reflect that everyone is a person first, and their disability second.
