The Black Diamond Community Center will host its largest fundraiser of the year, the 18th annual Harvest Moon dinner auction Nov. 6. Doors open for registration at 4 p.m.

This year leaders are raising funds for the emergency assistance program, which serves low-income families of Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Ravensdale, Maple Valley, Covington, Kent and Auburn.

Organizers are currently seeking donations of collectibles and new items, as well as large baskets. Donations can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Local auctioneer Walter Woodword will be entertaining the crowd in the live auction.

Tickets are $35.
