Buckley’s Youth Activity Center will host its annual dinner and auction beginning at 5 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Buckley Eagles Hall on state Route 410.

A ticket price of $10 will buy spaghetti, caesar salad and bread. Proceeds from the event provide operating funds for the youth center in the coming year.

A silent auction is planned, with the possibility of an open auction or raffle if the center receives any big-ticket donations, Youth Activity Coordinator Ellen Boyd said.

The dinner sold 95 tickets in 2009.

“We had to move over to Eagles Hall this year,” Boyd said. “Last year, we held it in the youth center and so many people came that we were crowded.”

Tickets can be purchased at the Youth Activities Center, 251 River Ave., from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Space is limited. For more information, call Boyd at 360-829-1921 ext. 260.
