The White River Family Support Center will host its Strengthening Families series of free workshops beginning Feb. 1.

The workshops are designed to help improve communication skills in families. Seven weekly workshops facilitated by trained instructors will strengthen families’ ability to safely and successfully navigate the teen years and prepare for a bright future.

The series is open to families with children 9 to 14 years old. A free dinner and childcare is included.

The series runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays for seven weeks, concluding March 15. All workshops take place at Mountain Meadow Elementary, 11812 Mundy Loss Rd., Buckley.

To register, call Klara at 253-697-8408 or Leah at 360-829-5883.
