Piano contest set for Buckley

Arrow Lumber in Buckley will host a piano talent contest Saturday. Competition begins at 9 a.m. and runs until around noon.

Professional piano instructor Jim Kelsey will serve as judge.

There will be six groups performing: Preschool to kindergarten; grades 1 through 3; grades 4 through 6; grades 7 and 8; grades 9 and 10 and grades 11 and 12.

Performances for younger grades will be five minutes in length; older performers have 10 minutes.

First-place in each class will receive $25.

Registration, at Arrow Lumber, is open through Friday.
