Yolanda Lanting, with the King-Pierce Dairy Women’s Association, presented a gift basket to Tyler and Ashley Teeple Thursday morning. The Enumclaw couple were honored by the dairy women for delivering the first baby in June at St. Elizabeth Hospital. June is Dairy Month and presenting the first baby with a gift is a tradition the dairy women have carried on in Enumclaw for more than 30 years. Maverik was born at 3 p.m. June 1. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce, and joins older brother Landon, 20 months old. He was also welcomed by grandparents Mark and Sue Teeple of Auburn, Darla And Karl Vonmoos of Centralia and great-grandparents Jim and Elaine Lander of Auburn and Dan and Kim Agnew of Vancouver.
