The Enumclaw Regional Healthcare Foundation is partnering with Macy’s to invite customers to participate in Macy’s sixth annual Shop for a Cause charity event Aug. 27.

Customers can purchase tickets now through Enumclaw Regional Healthcare Foundation members or at the office, 1174 Myrtle St. in Enumclaw.

Macy’s Shop for a Cause is a one-day-only shopping event created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts. The event has helped raise more than $38 million for charities across the country since 2006.

Macy’s has provided the Foundation with shopping passes to sell for $5 each. ERHF will keep 100 percent of every ticket it sells.

By purchasing a shopping pass to the event, customers support the Foundation and enjoy a day of discounts and entertainment. Pass holders receive discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day. Some exclusions apply.

“It’s a great opportunity for folks to save money on their back-to-school shopping, while supporting a great local cause,” Foundation Executive Director René Popke said.
