ANNIVERSARY: Local couple reaches golden anniversary

Jerry and Lynda (Moeller) English will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 14, 2011.

They were married, and have remained, in Enumclaw. They were wed at Calvary Presbyterian Church during a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Robert Sargent.

Both are graduates of Enumclaw High School. He spent 32 years each at Boeing and as a volunteer firefighter in Enumclaw prior to retiring in 1998. She worked for Interchecks and Mutual of Enumclaw before retiring in 1999.

They will celebrate their golden anniversary Oct. 15 at Johnny’s Dock Restaurant in Tacoma, along with their children Steve English and Becky Brady, four grandchildren and numerous friends and relatives.
