Expressions hosts Alzheimer's and dementia program

Expressions at Enumclaw will host an Alzheimer's and Dementia Education and Empowerment Training program from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, at its Enumclaw facility, 2454 Cole St.

At 7 p.m. David Troxel will present "The New Treatment for Dementia; Being Active and Engaged." Troxel is co-author of "A Dignified Life" and an expert on the best practices for Alzheimer's care and other forms of dementia. He will share the latest information on how people living with dementia can continue to live a purposeful and meaning life.
