Dean Mahnke was the first baby born in June at St. Elizabeth Hospital to his mother Stacy and father, John. June is national dairy month.

The baby was born June 1 at 1:58 p.m.  The family lives in Buckley.

Annie Birklid, King-Pierce Dairy Ambassador presented the baby gifts from the Washington Dairy Women organization, the ambassador program and the Dairy Farmers of Washington.
