One degree down, Castanza now off to Ph.D. program

Enumclaw’s Anthony Castanza graduated June 8 from the University of Washington with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and a minor in chemistry.

He will begin a Ph.D. program this summer at the UW School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, where he is currently working in medical research.

He is the son of Joel and Julie Castanza of Enumclaw. He graduated from Enumclaw High with the class of 2009, having attended Green River Community College his junior and senior years as part of the Running Start program.
