Enumclaw Youth and Family Services asking for community donations of school supplies

Each August, staff at Enumclaw Youth and Family Services hands out more than 300 backpacks filled with the basic school supplies needed by local students.

EYFS looks to the community for donations of new supplies. Students will need: calculators, binders, packs of paper, colored pencils, No.2 pencils, rulers. tissue boxes, packs of pens, glue bottles, glue sticks, crayons (16 count), watercolor markers (eight count), scissors, pencil sharpeners, packs of erasers, spiral notebooks, Mead composition notebooks and folders with pockets and dividers.

Supplies may be dropped at the Enumclaw Youth Center, 1356 Cole St.
