Parking Information:

1.     Students who have purchased a parking permit AND have submitted a parking permit application may pick up their parking permit in Mr. Pennington’s office.

2.     Parking violations will be enforced and tickets issued beginning Tuesday, September 4.


Native American and Alaskan Native students:

Come to Native Education in the counseling office to sign up for a loaner lap top or graphing calculator. We have a limited supply on a first come first serve basis.


Just a reminder that the Cashiers Office is CLOSED on Fridays, please plan accordingly.


There will be a Drama Club Meeting Afterschool in the Auditorium on Tuesday at 2:45pm.  We will discuss upcoming plays and fieldtrips this year!  We will also hold elections for Drama Club Officers!  And there might be free food!  All students are encouraged to attend!  Questions, see Mr. Miller.


If you need a locker, please see Mrs. Caldwell in the Counseling Office.


DO YOU LIKE TO DANCE? Then the 6 week Dance Clinic is for you!  During this clinic you will be learning a fun dance routine and practice fundamental dance steps.  Our first session will be Tuesday September 9th at 4:00.  Wear workout clothing and bring a water bottle.   No experience is necessary!  Open to ALL students!  See Mrs. Lang in Room 219 if you have questions.


Attention all students interested in being part of the Equestrian team, there will be an informational meeting September 5 in the EHS Library at 6:30.


Battle of the Bridge football game is this Friday at Pete's Pool! Get your shirts now and wear them on Friday to school and the game! We are Enumclaw!  $12.00 at lunches and at the game.


Information in Review:

If you were not here for Hornet Days for photos, your Make-up Day will be on September 11from 8:00 to 11:30AM  in the Auditorium Lobby.  If you did not like your photo Retake Day will be on October 11.

The 2012 Pre Season Dance Team won 2 trophies at the Universal Dance Association summer camp held at the Great Wolf  Lodge.  The dance team was also recognized as one of the top most spirited teams and 1 of our members was specifically honored as being particularly inspirational and helpful among all 275 participants.  All Dance awards can be viewed in the showcase in the commons!  Congratulations to Rachael Heistuman, Savannah Johnson, Jenna Salomon, Sandy Maddus and AnnaLisa Lang.

Attention all students interested in being a part of Equestrian Team.  There will be an informational meeting on September 5 in the EHS Library at 6:30PM.


This information is for girls concerning Homecoming on September 29.  If you are going to Homecoming and need a dress or gown for a $10.00 donation, come to JJ Smith School on September 12 between 2:30 & 4:30PM.  Many nice gowns are available and it is first come first serve.These are offered by Prom Dreams.

COMMUNITY Happenings:

The Enumclaw Clothing Bank is opening for "Back to School" shopping.   We are open everTuesday from 10am-6pm. (closed on school closures and holidays)  We are located at the JJ Smith building on Fell St. in the old library.


If you have any clean, usable items to donate to the clothing bank we will be holding a "collection" day on Aug. 21st from 3-8pm.
