Black Diamond Community Center and the Salvation Army assisting with energy needs

The Black Diamond Community Center and the Salvation Army are taking appointments this month for those needing energy assistance.

Low-income families, seniors and disabled persons with urgent or final notices in Black Diamond, Ravensdale, Maple Valley, Covington and east unincorporated Kent (ZIP code 98042) are eligible. One voucher per household for up to $150 on either electric or gas service can be provided.

To schedule an appointment, clients should call 360-886-1011 between 1 and 4 p.m Monday through Friday.
