White River graduated Tyler Worthen completes basic training

Tyler Worthen, a 2012 graduate of White River High School, graduated from basic training Aug. 2 at Fort Benning, Ga.

He will complete Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning on Sept. 6, then will head back to Montana State University, where he is enrolled in Army Reserve Officers Training Corps.

At MSU he is majoring in kiniseology, with a minor in military science. He will graduate at a second lieutenant with a four-year military commitment.

He is the son of Wilson and Kelli Worthen of Bonney Lake.
