Rotary picks ‘Students of the Month’

Members of the Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized the following as Students of The Month during their Nov. 14 meeting.

• Markus Fornelius, son of Brad and Sandra Fornelius of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. He has a 3.92 cumulative grade-point average and is president of the National Honor Society. Additionally, he participates in track and field, is a member of the Spanish Club and is a volunteer tutor. He plans to attend a four-year university next fall to study mechanical engineering.

• Gloria Rodriguez, daughter of Norma Galvan and Rafael Rodriguez of Bonney Lake, was the recipient from White River High School. She is a Running Start student at Pierce College and will graduate this spring with her high school diploma and an associate’s degree. She participates with the Special Olympics as a power lifter. She plans on attending Western Washington University in the fall to study seismology.
