JAMES FERGUSON

Buckley resident James R. Ferguson, 76, died Dec. 15, 2008, in Auburn.

He was born March 27, 1932, in Church Ferrari, N.D. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pool and horseshoes. A high school basketball player, he liked watching football and baseball.

Survivors include his wife Kaye Ferguson of Buckley; sons Glen Woods of Auburn and Darrell Woods, Michael Woods, Joe Woods and John Woods and wife Renea, all of Buckley; daughters Cheryl Reevas and husband Cliff of Puyallup and Grace White and husband Alan of Colorado; brother Donald Ferguson of Tucson, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

At his request, no services were planned.

Arrangements are by Weeks’ Funeral Home of Buckley.

HELEN FARRAR

Helen M. Farrar died Dec. 14, 2008, at the age of 81.

She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Naches, Wash. She worked in sales most of her life, but her final occupation was as an administrator for Social Security. She loved to dance, make quilts and laugh.

She is survived by sons John Farrar and wife leanne of Sumner, Gary Farrar of Costa Rica and Neil Farrar and wife Leslie of Everett, Wash.; daughters Mary Benson and husband Vern of Bellingham, Wash., and Donna Goebel of Bonney Lake; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in May 1990, daughter Nancy Mattice in January 2005, grandson Stacey Mattice and two brothers.

A graveside service took place Friday, Dec. 19, at Buckley City Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Weeks’ Funeral Home.
