A Sweet Escape is what Enumclaw High School band boosters are promising community members at a fundraising dinner, dance and auction they are hosting.

Proceeds from the event will help EHS wind ensemble students cut the cost to attend, and perform at, the National Events Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia, in May.

Each of the nearly 40 students in the wind ensemble must pay approximately $400 to make the trip. As part of the fundraiser, Enumclaw High bands will be performing during the dinner and auction.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Enumclaw High commons.

Tickets are on sale now for $15 per person. For ticket information, call Caroline Bellinger at 360-802-4418.

Those interested in donating items for the silent auction, can contact Kristin Millard at 253-569-9929.
