Expressions hosts Troxel for two-day Alzheimer’s care series

Internationally known writer and teacher David Troxel will present a two-day series at Expressions at Enumclaw, 2454 Cole St.

Expressions at Enumclaw and Living Court Assisted Living Community will host the education and empowerment series beginning with Troxel’s “Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s Care” at 6:30 p.m. Monday and concluding at 8 a.m. Tuesday with a complimentary pancake breakfast with Troxel. There will also be time for one-on-one discussions with Troxel and an open question-and-answer session.

Troxel has experience in the fields of Alzheimer’s disease and long-term care. He has co-authored four books, most notably “The Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s Care,” as well as numerous articles relating to the disease’s care and staff development training.
