A workshop for families with children ages 9 to 14 years old is coming to Bonney Lake.
The “Guiding Good Choices Parenting Series” is a free, five-week series that begins April 8 at the community service building, 14104 Prairie Ridge Dr. Each session runs from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. with a free family dinner served at 6 at the Prairie Ridge recreation hall.
Parents will discuss: Establishing limits, helping youth deal with peer pressure, the changing role of youth in the family, managing family conflict and effective communication.
Youth will learn how to handle frustration, resist peer pressure, get along with others and appreciate parents.
Free childcare for siblings younger than 9 will be provided.
To register, call Monica Gaub at 253-334-5895 or e-mail gaublins@msn.com.
