Leaders thank volunteers

National Volunteer Week is celebrated from April 19 through April 25. Our volunteer group, Guide Dogs for the Blind, would like to acknowledge all the other volunteers that make a difference, and say thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do. Your time, energy and talents serve to help others with projects that you hold dear to your hearts. You are awesome!

We all know that you can make a positive impact on your community as a volunteer. But did you know that volunteering can benefit you as an individual too? Some examples are: learning a new skill, meeting new people, becoming a community member; you feel the sense of achievement, you boost your career possibilities and you can gain a new interest or hobby.

If you are without a volunteer position at this time in your life, why not consider raising a puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind? We are always looking for new raisers. Call Jana Decker at 360-802-9858 or Kristin Schuver at 360-825-2825.
