Cancer Rally

Hundreds turned out to participate in  Enumclaw’s American  Cancer Society Relay For Life Saturday and Sunday at J.J. Smith Elementary School, including a large group of cancer survivors. The survivors took the first lap around the track, followed by a Heros Lap and a team lap. Nearly 40 teams with close to 500  participants made up this year’s Relay. Saturday night, another large crowd gathered for the  luminary ceremony. Paper bags with the names of those fighting, or those who have died from, cancer glowed in the darkness.
