Shannon P. Henry, a sophomore from Enumclaw, was among the undergraduate students named to the Gonzaga University president’s list for the spring semester. Students had to earn a grade-point average of 3.7 or better to qualify.

She also was appointed to serve on the university’s Judicial Board for 2009-10.

Henry graduated from Enumclaw High School in 2008.

Dylan Seitz of Enumclaw received a bachelor of arts degree in history from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., during graduation ceremonies May 9 on campus.

He plans to continue his education at WSU and will complete a triple major during the coming school year, adding Asian studies and political science.

Julia Freeburg, a 2009 graduate of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, will be going to the University of Virginia this fall with a Jefferson Foundation scholarship and Naval ROTC scholarship. She is the daughter of Jeri and John Freeburg of Enumclaw.
