Golden anniversary for Hubrich

Arlene and Robert Hubrich celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with guests attending from Enumclaw, Buckley, Seattle and Tacoma.

She is an Enumclaw native and graduate of Enumclaw High School. The couple met at a dance while he was in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Lewis. They have made their home in New Berlin, Wis., where she worked for J.C. Penney and he retired from the city water department, but spend two weeks every year in Enumclaw.
