Enumclaw Rotary hosting Valentine’s Ball Feb. 13

The Enumclaw Rotary Club will host a Valentine’s Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 in the Enumclaw Expo Center fieldhouse.

Cocktails will be served at 6 and the dinner, provided by White Linen Catering, starts at 7 p.m. The floor will open for dancing between 8 and 10 p.m.

By Committee, a jazz combo, will provide music, as will the Plateau Community Orchestra.

Tickets are $90 per couple. Photographs will be available for $10.

According to Rotary’s Walt Bennett, the event is a fundraiser for the organization which pumps resources back into the community. Bennett said the group’s primary fundraising event, the annual Duck Race, did not bring in the donations it usually does and the Valentine’s Ball will hopefully bridge the budget gap. Plus, Bennett said, it promises to be a good time.

The inspiration comes from the city’s father-daughter Valentine dance.

“This is something for adults,” he said.

Tickets are available at Skynet, Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, Arts Alive! Gallery, Mail Express or from any Rotarian. For information, contact Bennett at 360-825-5014.
