VERBAL DOMESTIC DISPUTE: At 8:20 p.m. March 1, officers were dispatched to 3rd Street for a domestic dispute between a 33-year old man and his father. The officers contacted both father and son and determined it was only a verbal argument. Both subjects agreed to leave each other alone for the evening.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: At 10:54 p.m. March 2, an officer observed a vehicle traveling on Briar Hill. The license plate was routinely run through the police computer and the Department of Licensing returned that the registered owner was driving with a suspended license. The owner matched the description of the vehicle owner, so she was pulled over and placed under arrest.
THREE CHARGES: At 11:06 p.m. March 3, an officer stopped a vehicle on the 28800 block of state Route 410 East because the Department of Licensing indicated the man was driving with a suspended license. The driver was arrested for that charge, as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued citations and released at the scene.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE: At 2:08 a.m. March 6, an officer stopped a vehicle at state Route 165 and Ryan Road for having its high beams activated. The driver performed some voluntary tests and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into jail.
MINOR DRINKING: At 2:33 a.m. March 7, an officer stopped a 20-year-old man for a traffic violation on SR 410 by Chamberlain Way. The man was found to have consumed alcohol prior to driving. He was issued a citation and released on to a sober adult.
