The following Plateau students were named to the spring 2010 president’s honor roll at Washington State University. To be named to the list, students must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.75 for the term or have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Black Diamond: Mallory L. Bouchee, Rachel L. Bowen, Mitch M. Boyer, Arika L. Flynn and Brittany A. Jamison.

Buckley: Jenifer A. Fletcher, Eva K. Parker, Kaelin M. Paulson, Samantha R. Simpson, Emily Stephens and Michael M. Wood.

Enumclaw: Danelle M. Borgen, Gabrielle L. Engelhard, Amanda L. Gosney, Tia J. Hanks, Stephanie L. Johnson, Levi J. Keene, Mollie E. Marine, Andrew J. Marlow, Stephanie E. McKinlay, Ebony Mena, Angela M. Mendez, Kaitlin N. Norton, Luke P. Renaud and Zachary D. Smith.

Enumclaw resident Allison Goodfellow recently graduated from the University of Portland.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English, graduating maxima cum laude. Commencement exercises took place May 2 on the University of Portland campus.

Andrew S. Bumstead, who received a master of fine arts in film, was among 5,800 students awarded academic degrees in May from Boston University.

The following Plateau students were named to the 2010 spring quarter dean’s list at Eastern Washington University.

To qualify, students must earn at least 12 hours of academic credit and a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Buckley: Shannon Barney, Kimberly Carreiro, Christian Lobdell, Kelsey Maas, Bonnie Marshall, Jarrod McMillen, Grant Peckham and Brittany Pring.

Enumclaw: Elizabeth Inman, Amanda Oster, Michelle Sario, Anthony Wallace and Stephany Wieland.

Enumclaw resident Jesse D. Narog, a senior at Oregon State University majoring in forest engineering, has been named to OSU’s honor roll for the spring term.

To qualify, students had to carry at lease 12 graded hours of course work and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Amy Fisher of Enumclaw received a master of arts from the graduate school of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., at its 165th commencement ceremony on May 10.

The following Plateau students were awarded undergraduate degrees from Washington State University following completing of the spring 2010 semester.

Buckley: Eva K. Parker, bachelor of arts in social sciences (general studies-social sciences), magna cum laude; Kendra L. Paulson, bachelor of science in kinesiology; and Michael M. Wood, bachelor of science in electrical engineering, magna cum laude.

Enumclaw: Mollie E. Marine, bachelor of arts in human development, cum laude and undergraduate certificate in child development and care; Andrew J. Marlow, bachelor of science in electrical engineering; and Derek E. Welsh, bachelor of science in electrical engineering.

Enumclaw’s Bryant Jansen was among 2,600 Montana State University undergraduates receiving diplomas during MSU’s commencement ceremonies May 8. He graduated with honors, meaning he achieved a cumulative grade-point average between 3.25 and 3.69.

The following Plateau students graduated from Central Washington University upon completion of the spring 2010 term.

Enumclaw: Ashley M. Abramson, bachelor of science in business administration; Jeremy R. Curtin, bachelor of arts in history, magna cum laude; April R. Peplow, bachelor of science in environmental geological sciences; Ashley M. Campbell, bachelor of arts in education; Suzanne L. McIntyre, bachelor of science in food science and nutrition, cum laude; and Tracy A. Wilkening, bachelor of arts in education in early childhood education, cum laude.

Ravensdale: Tanner P. Eells, bachelor of arts in law and justice.

Wilkeson: Abby L. Hamilton, bachelor of science in construction management.
