Foothills United Methodist Church will offer a “faith-informed understanding of evolution” at 10 a.m. Sunday. The public is invited to attend.

The Rev. Darrell Reeck will preach on “Teach them good science and true faith” and will propose a way of embracing both.

“This is a sermon I’ve been waiting to preach since my Stadium High School days, 53 years ago,” Reeck said.

All who attended the presentation are then invited to an 11 a.m. session of “STP – Stump the Preacher.” Those in the audience will be able to ask questions or offer comments from their faith perspective.

The church meets in Finn Hall, two blocks south of state Route 410 on 234th Avenue East, between Buckley and Bonney Lake. Church information is available by visiting www.foothillsumc.blogspot.com.
