Enumclaw High presents Tony Award-winning musical
March 1, 2011 · 3:10 PM
Enumclaw High School students are putting the final touches on the Tony Award-winning “The Drowsy Chaperone.” EHS was suppose to be the first in the area to debut the musical comedy, but another high school in the state slipped in earlier performance times. With music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and based on the book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, it’s guaranteed to make you laugh out loud, EHS drama teacher Darrell Miller said. Miller is joined by orchestra teacher Lynda Alley, choir teacher Paul Scott and 70 drama, choir and band students working together to bring this performance to Plateau audiences. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. March 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 and 2 p.m. March 13. Tickets are $6 for students and $10 for adults.
