The Allegro Women’s Ensemble will be singing during the Memorial Day service Monday at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington.

The Plateau-based group will perform “The Star Spangled Banner,” “God Bless America” and “Taps” during the 11 p.m. ceremony.

“It’s been very exciting to prepare for and we are deeply honored at the opportunity to honor the memory of our veterans with their families in this manner,” AWE member Kathee Lundberg said.
