Concert coming to Glacier Middle School

Thanks to the determined scheduling efforts of concert promoter Mark Mauldin, the quest for a concert in Buckley will come to fruition when rising star and Enumclaw native Rae Solomon takes the Glacier Middle School auditorium stage June 25.

Solomon, a self-proclaimed “country-fied chick” has opened for Blake Shelton and Blaine Larsen. Mauldin predicted Solomon is on the threshold of hitting the big time, partially due to the release of her debut album, “The Long Road From Emerald City.”

The doors will open at 6 p.m. to the 400-seat Glacier auditorium at 240 N. A St. in Buckley.

All tickets are general admission, running $10 each and will be on sale at the box office; tickets also may be purchased online in advance as well through PayPal.

The opening act is Austin Radio, a rock duo from Olympia. To learn more about this tandem, visit
