June 14, 2011 · 3:57 PM
The Gateway Concert Band will present “Name Those Tunes XIII” at 7 p.m. Monday Rotary Centennial Park in front of the Enumclaw library.
For the 13th year, the band is challenging the audience to name the numerous tunes included in medleys of songs for all age groups. The program will also feature White River High School band director Tim Fleming, playing a saxophone solo.
A second performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 27 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Sumner.
These programs are made possible in part by grants from the city of Enumclaw, 4Culture of King County and the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. There is no admission charge, but a donation will be collected.
Bring a chair or blanket on which to sit. If the weather is too wet or cold, the outdoor Enumclaw program will be moved to the auditorium at Enumclaw High School. For information, call 360-825-5369 or visit www.gatewayconcertband.org .
