Theater group bringing 'Oz' to stage

Imagination Theatre, the Plateau’s latest all youth theatre company, brings “The Wizard of Oz” to the stage Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Enumclaw High School auditorium.

Performances are 7 p.m. all three days with a additional 2 p.m. matinee Saturday.

This version of “The Wizard of Oz” has all the classic songs and characters fans have come to know and love.

For the past five weeks, 60 kids between the ages of 4 and 19 have put their hearts and souls into bringing this most beloved tale to audiences. They have worked on costumes, sets, advertising, choreography, music, staging and more.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling Imagination Theatre at 360-802-0908 or visiting the Arts Alive! Gallery at 1429 Cole St. Advance tickets are $8 adults and $5 for kids under age 12 and seniors 60 years and older. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office before each performance for $10 and $5.
