Every year Enumclaw High School seniors must complete a Senior Project as part of graduation requirements.

Brought up in a theater family, senior Melaina Johnson decided to fall back on the thing she knows best – theater.

Under the umbrella of Imagination Theatre, Johnson is directing “Robin Hood,” and will bring it to the stage in performances at 2 and 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Glacier Middle School auditorium in Buckley.

With drive, determination and a love for theatre, she is working with a cast of 16 actors, ranging in age from 8 to 14. Her theater background has made volunteering her time to this project both fun and a learning process.

She has created sets, costumes and advertising to complete her project, now she needs an audience.

Tickets are $5 per person. Children 4 years old and younger are free. Proceeds from the performance will support the Imagination Theatre Summer Workshop Scholarship Fund.

For tickets call 360-802-0908. Tickets are also available at the door.
