September half price at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park for senior citizens

August 12, 2012 · 7:59 PM

Seniors aged 65 or older receive special half-price general admission at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park throughout the month of September.

Kids are back in the school, and the weather is traditionally grand. It’s a great time to get out and enjoy the scenery, the smaller crowds and the relaxed pace of the season.

There are opportunities for leisurely strolls through the core area’s walkways, with animal sightings along the way; longer walks on paved nature trails; or just sitting a spell on a bench amid the grandeur of the great outdoors.

Of course, there’s also the beautiful ride on the tram as it tours through the wildlife park’s Free Roaming Area, where animals exhibit herding behaviors that only occur during the fall season.

And seniors get 10 percent off eats and treats in the Forest Café and Trek Treats concession stand.
