The city of Enumclaw’s Gallery 2013 will present the work of Bonney Lake photographer

The city of Enumclaw’s Gallery 2013 will present the work of Bonney Lake photographer Lyn McNees.

Her exhibit opens Thursday and will conclude March 5.

“I was struck by the shutter bug about four years ago," McNees wrote in an artist's statement. "The 'eye' of the camera opened an incredible new world of creativity I had never experienced before.

"I learned to see the world around me from multiple perspectives; color, composition, technical uses of a camera’s settings and, last but not least, the photographs themselves."Each photograph represents a moment in time, a memory that represents who I am and how I feel about this fantastic world we live in."

McNees is a member of the Rainer Hills Camera Club and cites her fellow club members as her main inspiration.

Gallery 2013 is in the council chambers at Enumclaw City Hall, 1339 Griffin Ave. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
