This year’s districtwide art show, planned for March 19 at Enumclaw High School, is expected to be bigger than the last.

Enumclaw High visual art students have been working hard on their entries. Students from Southwood and Westwood elementary schools and the two Enumclaw middle schools will also be participating and showing artwork.

Their creations will be on display from 4 to 7:30 p.m. March 19 in the EHS library. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. with Superintendent Mike Nelson presenting the awards. There will be a $2 suggested donation to attend the show. Artists Lori Twiggs, Sylvia Neth, Ann Miya, Craig O’Brien and Amanda Reeves will serve as this year’s judges.

At 7:30 p.m. the Enumclaw High musical production of “Titanic” will begin in the school’s auditorium. Ticket information and other show times will be available at a later date.

The art show will remain in the library from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during the school day March 20 for community and staff members and students interested in viewing the pieces.
