The students of violin teacher Ruth Dirks were featured in a winter recital Jan. 26 at the Enumclaw Church of the Nazarene. Each violinist worked hard to prepare for the recital so they could share their piece with family and friends.

Students who participated were: Haley Barr, Elric Barkey, Michael Ballard, Anna Harris, David Mundt, Hannah Clerc, Preston Went, Shelby Booher, Nathan Brewer, Timothy Chen, Emily Deady, Andrew Johnson, Nicole Unguez, Emily Wolfe, Maren Stewart and Camille Sorensen.

Students Noah Strong and Johnny Eddins also worked hard to prepare a piece, but were unable to attend the recital due to illness.

The students’ next recital is scheduled for June. Dirks offers lessons through Enumclaw Music and her home studio in Ravensdale.
