If unions are backing candidates, there is an ulterior motive. This begs the question why? Money isn’t thrown around just for good will; there is always a reason behind it. Personally, I don’t want someone representing our city and making decisions for our city, having to answer to a union (or be the mouthpiece for a union). I want someone who cares about our city and the people who live in it, make the best decisions for all of us on that basis.
