You can’t expect volunteers to manage arts programs without funding

It’s quite simply impossible

Is the Enumclaw community and the mayor aware that the members of the Arts Commission are, and have always been, volunteers? Volunteers donate their time and expertise for the good of Enumclaw’s cultural programs with no expectation of monetary recompense.

Asking unpaid volunteers to manage cultural programs is akin to trying to sail a ship without a rudder.
