Halloween crafts, stories, traditions and more at Pierce County Libraries

Children and families will have fun learning during hands-on Halloween events at Pierce County Library System. Friends of the Libraries sponsor these free events.

Saturday, Oct. 19, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Halloween Mask Making

Drop in and create a unique Halloween mask. All supplies provided. Ideal for elementary school ages.

Thursday, Oct. 31, 4 p.m. Ghoulish Goodies and Timeless Tales

Start the Halloween celebration at the library! Share some (not so) scary stories and Halloween treats. Costumes are encouraged.

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Plants vs. Zombies Party

Ages 8 – 12 will play the game, create plant or zombie shrink plastic crafts, win prizes and have a light snack.
